Joseph (a.k.a Joey, and Joe) was born on April 20, 1976 in Albington, Pennsylvania. His parents, Joseph and Donna, encouraged him to go into acting at a very early age. When he was around 4 years old, he went to New York and was on a few tv commercials. His big "break" came when he played the character of Joe on the cool 80's show, Gimme a Break (1981). In 1990, he started what may be his most popular tv role so far. He took the part of Joe on the hit tv show Blossom. Almost any college or high school kid now can remember his trademark personality that made the Joey Lawrence "WOAH" the coolest thing to say.
After his Blossom days, he worked on his music career. In 1993, he released his debut album,Never Gonna Change My Mind when he was 17. The album which produced two hit singles -- the Top Ten smash �Nothin� My Love Can�t Fix� and �Stay Forever.�in 1993, went gold in the U.S. and Europe.
In 199- , Joe along with his brothers, Matt and Andy starred on the NBC/WB show Brotherly Love which is in syndication on weekday evenings on the Disney Channel.
He released his second CD, Soulmates in September of 1997.
